Why IS TATUM’S GARDEN closed?

Tatum’s Garden closes yearly for the Salinas Rodeo, which is an event that draws 100,000s of people every year and utilizes all parking lots on the grounds where Tatum’s Garden is located. This has happened yearly since our opening. It also gives us time to have the park cleaned and power-washed and rubber areas resurfaced as needed. We understand this can be frustrating if you had planned a trip to Tatum’s Garden and were unaware of this closure. Please always remember to check our social media and our website before coming to the playground, as we always have posts up the week the park is closing to try and inform people.
